WCW: Elodie Yung and Deborah Ann Woll

Elodie Yung and Deborah Ann Woll

For the past two weeks, I’ve been binge-watching both seasons of Daredevil. I’m not sure why it took me so long to start the show. But, it’s as good as everyone said. While we all love us some Charlie Cox, this week it’s all about these two badass ladies: Elodie Yung and Deborah Ann Woll. They’re scene-stealers that embody talent, beauty, and charisma. And, that’s why they’re our Woman Women Crush Wednesday.

There are many reasons why you should be watching Daredevil but at the top of that list is its strong female characters. They’re not playing the helpless love interest of Matt Murdock. Instead, they’re strong, intelligent, and kicking some major butt. And, they’re supported by the performances of Elodie Yung and Deborah Ann Woll.

It’s safe to say that expectations were high when Elodie Yung signed on to play the femme fatale assassin, Elektra. And she delivered! Her career took off in France but she’s recently brought her talents overseas. Is anyone else thankful for that? She starred in huge blockbusters including The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and G.I. Joe 2.

Fans have fallen in love with Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page—the independent and courageous woman fighting for justice in Hell’s Kitchen. She’s a captivating actress who shines in any role she plays. She got her big break as Jessica Hamby in True Blood. And, has starred in films including Mother’s Day, Catch .44, and Forever. When she’s not acting, she’s supporting various charities including The Choroideremia Research Foundation and The Art of Elysium.

If you haven’t watched Daredevil, what are you waiting for? Both seasons are available on Netflix.
