About the Film
The Whistleblower is a high-octane eco-thriller set in Australia. Lei Jiayin stars as the clean energy expert, Mark Ma, who unwittingly uncovers a global conspiracy with ties to dangerous foreign factions – as well as his old flame Zhou Wen (Tang Wei). Marked for death and pursued by an elite team of assassins, the former lovers go on the run while trying to uncover the truth about a shady energy conglomerate. Written and directed by Xue Xiaolu (My People, My Country), the action-packed cat-and-mouse chase spans three continents and features breathtaking stunts by acclaimed action director Chris Anderson (Max Max, King Kong).
