New Music Friday: Bruno Mars, Little Mix & DNCE

Thanksgiving is officially upon us and I know for many that means a lot of traveling. Yikes! But, you’re in luck because we’ve got some new music for the road. This week’s New Music Friday features Bruno Mars, DNCE, and Little Mix. From DNCE’s funky sound to Little Mix’s girl power anthems, there’s something for everyone.

The King of the Hooligans is back with his first studio album since 2012. This time around, Bruno’s sound and influence is clear: a late ’80s R&B vibe. He gives us jams like the title-track, “24KMagic,” and the catchy “Chunky.” The album also features his undeniably stunning ballads—a staple of his repertoire. Tracks like “Versace on the Floor” and “Too Good To Say Goodbye” soar with Bruno’s signature falsetto.

Overall, Bruno has truly delivered a flawless album and it’s a must-have.

Swaay by DNCE
Since “Cake By The Ocean” swept the globe, DNCE has been on a nonstop train including a VMA win for ‘Best New Artist,’ a nationwide tour, and more. Finally, the world is getting a full serving of everything the band has to offer. The album delivers just what we’ve all been expecting: a unique sound that encompasses funk, rock, and pop. Standout tracks include “Toothbrush,” “Pay My Rent,” and the ever so catchy, “Body Moves”—which in my opinion is the perfect choice for a single. It’s smooth, sexy, and lyrical.

Glory Days by Little Mix
Girl power is back! The ladies have been flying high off the success of their empowering anthem, “Shout Out To My Ex” and are ready to give fans a taste of everything they’ve been up to. The album is a perfect showcase of their growth and maturity. One of my favorite tracks on the album is the mid-tempo ballad, “Nobody Like You,” which features powerful vocals from each member. Its R&B beat will draw you into every word they belt. Glory Days is a certified pop smash.
