Ones to Watch: R. Marcos Taylor

R. Marcos Taylor is a part of one of summer’s big hits: Baby Driver. Centering around a young getaway driver, the film is about an epic heist doomed to fail (fyi, we loved it). In Baby Driver, R. Marcos is Armie, a cop…who sells illegal weapons as a side business.

Beginning as a stunt man in Hollywood, R. Marcos Taylor became an actor thanks to a breakout role in Straight Outta Compton. In that critically-acclaimed film, he played music executive Suge Knight. Since then, R. Marcos has been on shows like Luke Cage, Sons of Anarchy, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and Blacklist.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that R. Marcos was a professional fighter (going by the name “Kick You in the Head”) before all of his screen time as a stunt man and actor. Not only does he have a black belt in karate, but he also trains in several other martial arts (think Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Judo, etc.).

With all those accomplishments already under his belt, we’re looking forward to seeing what comes next!
