2015 was a whirlwind year for Corey Kent White. He released his debut EP, which sold over 80,000 digital copies, and reached the Top 8 on NBC’s The Voice—all while earning his college degree. And, things don’t look like they’ll be slowing down any time soon. This talented singer-songwriter just released his new EP titled Long Way.
For the past year, Corey has spent his time traveling the country, performing at sold-out venues, and writing hundreds upon hundreds of songs. And, he’s carefully selected the four included on the EP: “The Same Thing,” “You Got It,” “When I’m Lonely” and “Long Way.”
This four-track collection is diverse. It’s an eclectic blend of country, blues, rock, and folk—delivered with Corey’s signature grit and soul. It’s music with a purpose, telling stories about passion, drive, and what happens when people take risks. And, it’s a testament to Corey’s songwriting abilities and versatility.
The EP meshes perfectly—highlighting an artist on the rise. And, we can’t wait to see what lies ahead. One can only hope a full-length recording is in the works.
You can purchase Long Way on iTunes or Amazon.
