Man Crush Monday: Monty Geer

It’s no secret we’re huge fans of MTV’s Awkward. And, there’s one actor that we can’t get enough of and that’s Monty Geer. Much like his character Cole, Monty is outspoken, funny, and driven. These are just some of the reasons why he’s our Man Crush Monday. Here are a few more:

He’s Not Afraid to Take Chances
Monty is a lot braver than us. He enjoys skydiving, flying planes, and scuba diving. But, he does that because he believes it’s important to do things that scare you: “When you get out of your comfort zone and take a risk on something, that’s when you truly grow in life. If you’re scared and waiting for opportunities to fall in your lap then that means you’ll forever be sitting down.”

He’s Got Great Taste in Books
Is there anything better than being well read? Nope! So, when Monty told us his favorite book is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, we were secretly screaming inside! It’s a favorite amongst our writers. And, one everyone should read.

He’s Creative
If you’re not following Monty on Instagram (@montygeer). You’re missing out! The young actor is using the social network platform to create original content. Monty writes and acts in all his sketches. And, they always bring the laughs.

He’s an Activist for Equal Rights and Anti-Bullying

Now that you’ve fallen in love Monty too, make sure to follow him on Instagram and Twitter.
