With a 9.5 rating on IMDb, the top-rated US show is Breaking Bad, which follows a high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with lung cancer who turns to creating and selling methamphetamine to save his family. Breaking Bad has been on air since 2008, making it a beloved classic in the states. In the United Kingdom, Sherlock takes the top spot with a rating of 9.1. Sherlock is a modern retelling of the famous sleuth and his partner solving complex crimes in 21st century London.

The show with the overall best rating is from the country of Sri Lanka. Koombiyo (Ants) is a drama about a homeless man who gets caught up in the world of organized crime. Koombiyo has a 9.8 rating on IMDb, but the show’s future is in question as the show’s writer has suspiciously gone missing.
