Support Code 8 – A Film by Stephen & Robbie Amell

The wait is over! If you’re like me, you signed up for the Code 8 newsletter. And, you were frantically checking your inbox this morning. Well, you got mail! Earlier today, details about Stephen and Robbie Amell’s secret project were revealed. They’re making their first feature film together—well hoping to. It all depends on us, the fans!

The pair have created an IndieGoGo campaign with some kickass perks! In less than twenty-four hours, they’re almost half way to their goal. If you’re unfamiliar with IndieGoGo, it’s a crowdfunding website where people can support various projects like Code 8. Based on your contribution, you’ll unlock various perks.

What are some of these perks? I’m glad you asked! You can get things like a blu-ray of the film, a hoodie, signed photos, tickets to premiere, and more. I’ve seen a lot of IndieGoGo campaigns and these perks are amazing (and a steal)! Plus, who doesn’t love the Amells?

Code 8 is set in a world where a portion of the population is born with supernatural abilities. Many of them live in poverty where they resort to a life of crime. Shot in L.A. last summer, Code 8 stars Robbie Amell (The Flash), Aaron Abrams (Hannibal), Chad Donella (Scandal), Sung Kang (Fast & Furious), and Alfred Rubin Thompson (Club Dean). Stephen Amell is an executive producer but will be in the film!

What are you waiting for? Make sure to contribute on IndieGoGo, check out the short, and the campaign video. The only question left to answer is…what perk will you get?
