To open up last night’s 50th annual Super Bowl, six-time Grammy Award winner Lady Gaga performed The National Anthem. Looking classic and radiant in red, Gaga showed the world exactly what she is made of.
Behind the outrageous costumes and staging lies a truly phenomenal voice, that is classically trained and for any doubters of the singer’s natural talent, she certainly proved them wrong with this beautiful version.
What I loved most about this performance is that it was a perfect blend of the original song melody and just enough Gaga. What put the icing on an already perfectly-baked cake was the final note, which Lady Gaga belted with no strain or force.
