Will Ferrell, Jason Momoa, Keke Palmer, and Chris Pratt Star in MONOPOLY GO!’s New “Friendship Pays” Campaign
The game we all love to play (and sometimes love to hate!) just got even better. Scopely, the top mobile game maker in the U.S., has launched its first-ever global campaign for MONOPOLY GO!, and it’s bringing some serious star power. Say hello to “Friendship Pays”—a celebration of the laughs, the thrills, and, yes, the friendly rivalries that make the game so addictive.
Headlining the campaign are none other than Will Ferrell as the voice of Mr. Monopoly, joined by Jason Momoa, Keke Palmer, and Chris Pratt. Together, they dive into “GOville,” a magical mash-up of real life and the MONOPOLY GO! universe, where anything can happen—like stealing fortunes or teaming up with friends for epic wins.
“I love playing games with my siblings and friends, and let me tell you honey, I play to win,” said Keke Palmer (aka “Keke GoGo”). “I’m so happy to team up with MONOPOLY GO!—it’s all about excitement, camaraderie, and just a little friendly competition.”
Jason Momoa, who’s bringing the energy as “Momoney,” chimed in: “Playing MONOPOLY GO! with friends is my favorite pastime. Who better to join the fun than Keke, Chris, and, of course, Mr. Monopoly himself?”
And Chris Pratt (“Extra Chrispy”) kept it real, saying, “This game is a blast. You get to go on wild adventures with friends, knock down their properties, charge rent—it’s a riot. Just don’t let Keke or Jason near your Monopoly money. Trust me on this.”
Since its launch in April 2023, MONOPOLY GO! has taken the gaming world by storm. It’s not just a reimagining of the classic board game—it’s a whole new experience. Whether you’re teaming up with friends to unlock the Community Chest or sneaking in some friendly sabotage, the game is packed with ways to play, connect, and compete.
“‘Friendship Pays’ is all about what makes MONOPOLY GO! so special—bringing people together for fun, mischief, and a little friendly chaos,” said Jamie Berger, SVP of Marketing at Scopely. “And having Will Ferrell as the voice of Mr. Monopoly? Pure magic.”
