Tom Felton Leads the Charge in Sci-Fi Thriller ‘Altered’

The revolution is about to begin.

Tom Felton, best known to audiences worldwide as Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter franchise, returns to the big screen in the high-octane sci-fi thriller Altered. The newly released trailer teases an adrenaline-fueled fight for humanity’s future — where survival means rewriting the rules of evolution.

Set in a dystopian Earth ravaged by nuclear war, Altered imagines a world where genetic enhancements have become the key to progress. Those unable to afford or access them — known as “specials” — are forced underground, left to survive on their own ingenuity. Among them is Leon (Felton), a rebellious inventor who builds intricate mechanical devices to help his people pass as “genetics.” But when oppression sparks resistance, Leon finds himself leading a revolution that could change the fate of humankind.

From visionary filmmaker Timo Vuorensola, the creative force behind the cult classic Iron Sky, Altered blends cyberpunk style with blockbuster energy. The trailer showcases breathtaking action sequences, intricate world-building, and emotional stakes that go beyond the fight for survival — exploring identity and social inequality.

Joining Tom is an impressive ensemble cast, including Elizaveta Bugulova, who delivers a standout performance as Chloe, a headstrong orphan under Leon’s care; Richard Brake (Game of Thrones); and Aggy K. Adams (Undercover Hooligan). The film is the latest from Well Go USA, known for bringing global genre storytelling to audiences who crave high-concept, visually striking cinema.

With its pulse-pounding visuals, heart, and hard-hitting themes, Altered promises to be a must-see for sci-fi fans — and a showcase for Tom in a role unlike anything we’ve seen from him before.

Altered hits select theaters and VOD on November 21 from Well Go USA.
