Singer-Songwriter Liddy Clark Shares Acoustic Rendition of Her Original Song “If There Was No Traffic In L.A.”
Originally from Plano, Texas and now based in Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Liddy Clark is a confessional storyteller with an old soul. Her songwriter roots intertwine with a breezy west coast chill vibe grounded by earthy tones that captivates her listeners near and far.
Today, Liddy is sharing a stripped-down, acoustic version of her self-written song “If There Was No Traffic In L.A.” A recent graduate of the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music, Liddy uses her sultry vocals and introspective songwriting to connect with her fans and listeners across the globe. In an interview with Taste of Country, Liddy said, “I wrote this song while living pretty much on top of the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles, and let me tell you, there is constant traffic going through there, even at 2 in the morning,” Liddy said. “Eventually, I got used to the noise. However, it also gave me an idea for a fun title for a song.”
In 2020, Liddy went viral on TikTok after sharing her original song, “Wrapped Up In Roses,” which was inspired by The Bachelor. The video went on to garner nearly two million views on the platform. Her latest release, “Led Myself On,” is all about falling head over heels, a little too quickly, for someone else. Check out the catchy track here!
