SDCC 2018: Adam McArthur & Daron Nefcy Serve up Boba at San Diego Comic-Con

There was plenty to do and see around the grounds at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. From exciting panels from all your favorite shows and films to interactive experiences brought to you by Amazon, Nerdist, and dozens of others, this convention did not disappoint. One of the standouts was, without a doubt, Adam McArthur and Daron Nefcy’s 2nd Annual Boba Fan Meet Up, which took place at SD Boba Tea!

Fans of Star vs. the Forces of Evil were able to sit down, share some laughs and stories, and of course, a boba tea with Adam McArthur and Daron Nefcy at this intimate, one-of-a-kind event.

Adam told us why he started the event: “So many fans, if they’re even lucky enough to get a ticket to Comic-Con, wait in long lines to get to hang with us for just a quick second. They come to our panel, but we don’t get a lot of one-on-one time. I wanted to create an event where we could all just hang out for a bit! It’s a place where everyone has something in common no matter where you’re from, what you look like, etc. It’s a place to make new friends, spend time with the Star cast and crew, and drink good boba! It’s a way for me to give back to the fans and show them how grateful I am for them. It’s definitely become my favorite part of Comic-Con!”

I mean, just when we thought we couldn’t love Adam Mcarthur any more, he goes ahead and makes an event specifically for his fans, with boba nonetheless! Check out photos from the event below and catch Star vs. the Forces of Evil on Disney XD, and keep your eye out for next year’s event!
