SDCC 2017: The Tick Experience

If you’re with the thousands of other fans who have descended upon San Diego for San Diego Comic Con this year, there’s a lot of experiences for you to do. One of the experiences that is super fun and worth waiting on line for (because it wouldn’t be SDCC without waiting on line) is Amazon Prime’s interactive activation outside the convention center for it’s new show, The Tick.

The Tick (we’re eagerly awaiting it!) is a superhero series you won’t want to miss. Take a look:

The interactive experience is a wonderful way to learn more about the show and, well, just a way to have fun! It includes:

  • An Amazon Prime member lounge where you can stream the pilot episode of The Tick and unlock digital badges in the space in order to get some cool promotional items.
  • A twenty-foot tall animatronic replica of the Tick‘s head will surprise and delight citizens as they learn they are able to control the Tick‘s “emotions” using levers that operate the giant 20ft animatronic build.
  • A multiroom scavenger hunt takes you through Goat’s Deli, Arthur’s Apartment, The Warehouse, and The City Police Station.

The Tick Takeover will be open to the public Thursday, July 20th through Saturday, July 22nd from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm, and Sunday, July 23rd from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at the MLK Promenade (corner of 1st and J street).
