SDCC 2017: Outlander

Outlander fans had a huge surprise at the end of the San Diego Comic-Con panel. Fans were expecting to watch a new trailer for season 3 which premieres September 10 on Starz; instead, they got to watch the entire first episode!

The panel was moderated by self-professed superfan, Jenna Dewan Tatum. She chatted with cast members Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Tobias Menzies, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin as well as the other usual suspects: author of the book series, Diana Gabaldon, show creator/showrunner Ronald D. Moore, and executive producer Maril Davis. Not only did they talk about the show, but they also participated in a fun game of “Truth or Dance” with Dewan Tatum.

You’ll get serious #FOMO when watching the panel:

If you attending SDCC, you can still get a taste of Outlander by visiting the Starz booth (#4029). The booth is a replica of the printing press featured in season 3. Using pieces of the actual set to build it, SDCC attendees have a chance to get cool goodies–tote bags, screen printed T-shirts (“It’s a Sassenach Thing” is a favorite), bandanas, and more. Also, be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for the roving band of shirtless, kilted, Outlander men in the Gaslamp district.
