Well folks, my favorite Awards show of the year is here: the Tonys! Unlike last year when one show in particular (cough, Hamilton, cough) dominated the Broadway season, this year there is a plethora. Aside from the glaring absences of some really good theater from the nominations (most odious exclusion, in my opinion, is Significant Other‘s Gideon Glick; one production that took itself out of the running, but really could have garnered nominations was Sunday in the Park with George), this year’s Tony Awards should be exciting. Would you ever consider swimming with sharks? It’s a hard pass from us. But we get it, we do. It’s thrilling and fun for adrenaline junkies. It takes place in a small town, where things aren’t always as they appear. Our young hero, Henry (Jaeden Lieberher), discovers a dark secret about his classmate, Christina (Maddie Ziegler), and takes matters into his own hands. Pop Culturalist is excited to partner with Focus Features to give away tickets to an advance screening of The Book of Henry—starring Naomi Watts,
