Music has the power to heal your soul. Just ask Parker Matthews. As a young boy, the up-and-coming pop artist struggled with depression and bullying. But through his craft, he was able to find solace during the toughest of times. Today, he’s inspiring and spreading his positive message through his music and song lyrics. Pop Culturalist spoke with Parker about his upcoming new single, how he overcame the darkness, and who inspired him to become a musician. PC: When did you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
