Adam Hender has emerged as one of music’s brightest young stars. In 2019, the UK singer-songwriter dropped a string of singles, including “Don’t Wake Me Up,” “One Chance,” “Burn,” and “I Don’t Mind,” which have quickly amassed over a million streams worldwide and caught the eye of Radio 1, Wonderland, Clash, and Tidal. This year, he builds on that success with the release of his highly anticipated debut album, Sick. Pop Culturalist had the pleasure of speaking with this breakout star. PC: How did you discover your passion for music?
