The 2016-17 Broadway season is in full swing and it’s safe to say the Tony Awards are going to be highly competitive this year. MTV has never been one to shy away from tough subject matters. The network is known for pushing the envelope and bringing awareness to topics and issues we need to be discussing. Their latest dramedy, Sweet/Vicious, is no different. The must-see show is giving a voice to survivors of sexual assault and it’s unlike anything on TV right now. Back in October, it was announced that Freeform’s newest sci-fi series, Beyond, would be the network’s first binge-from-the-start show. What does that mean you ask? Well, following its premiere on January 2nd, all ten episodes will be available on Freeform.com, the Freeform App, Hulu, and On Demand. It’s a milestone for the network and a huge nod to the show. And, it’s a move that makes sense. The Freeform audience is primarily teens and millennials. And, they love to binge-watch. I mean, who doesn’t? But, is Beyond worth your time?
