Ones to Watch: Chad Michael Collins

With a whole slew of new shows on the horizon, it’s never too early to look ahead and predict who will have the next breakout performance. One actor that we’re expecting big things from is Chad Michael Collins. He’s starring as Ezra, the leader of the Reborns, on BYUtv’s new sci-fi series, Extinct—premiering this October.

Written exclusively for BYUtv, Extinct centers around the “Reborns”, a small group of humans who are revived by an alien civilization, 400 years after their extinction. While it appears that the aliens are trying to restore the human race, the Reborns quickly uncover hidden agendas and secrets. The series is a story about second chances, love, family, and doing the right thing in the most difficult situations.

Chad Michael Collins’ character is a natural born leader and loving father, who will stop at nothing to save and protect his family. It’s his first leading role. But he’s no stranger to Hollywood. His credits include Freakish, NCIS: New Orleans, Bones, Castle, and dozens more. With each new project, Chad Michael Collins proves he can step into the shoes of any character and knock it out of the park.

Make sure to follow Chad on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, and catch Extinct this October on BYUtv.
