Jack Cutmore-Scott is Hollywood’s newest leading man. He’s talented, good-looking, and charismatic. He plays the title character on Fox’s must-see comedy: Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life. He embodies the definition of a triple threat—actor, writer, and director—unquestionably making him one to watch.
The Harvard-educated star has graced the stage in numerous theater productions. He played the title roles in Nicholas Nickleby and Entertaining Mr. Sloane, which earned him an Elliot Norton nomination for Best Actor. His play—which he wrote, directed, and starred in—was accepted for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. And, in 2011, he made his Broadway debut in the TONY-nominated revival of Arcadia.
In his first pilot season, the up-and-coming actor was cast as the male lead in Tina Fey’s Cabot College. And, he soon made his film debut in the Matthew Vaughn’s blockbuster, Kingsman: The Secret Service.
He’s currently starring in Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life on Fox. It’s TV’s version of The Hangover meets Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, told through the mistakes and lessons learned of a post-graduate millennial. And, if you haven’t started watching, what are you waiting for? The light-hearted comedy is highly enjoyable. And, Jack Cutmore-Scott is my breakout star from the show. He steals any scene he’s involved in with his laid-back persona and terrific comedic timing. And, his American accent is out of control. I was completely shocked when I found out he was British!
Jack’s talent is undeniable so it’s not surprising why he’s done so much at such a young age. For more updates on Jack, make sure to follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life airs Sundays at 8:30/7:30c on Fox.
