We’re suckers for a great rom-com. But, who isn’t? We love watching the hilarious plot unfold between two characters who are destined for each other. Why does it seem like everyone sees it but them? Because that’s usually the case. But, in the end, we know they’ll find their happily ever after and leave us with warm fuzzies. And, they’ll be plenty of laughs along the way. Better Off Single follows the life of Charlie Carroll (Aaron Tveit). He’s made a lot of life changes in one day and that includes quitting his job and breaking up with his girlfriend (Abby Elliott). What’s that saying? Oh right, there are plenty of fish in the sea. But, after swimming in the dark waters of the NYC dating pool, Charlie begins to question whether he’s made a mistake. With no job or girlfriend, Charlie embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Will he find “the one”? Or has that ship already sailed? Watch the laugh-out-loud trailer below:
