New Music: Cailee Rae’s Overthinking

Music has never been more accessible. From streaming services to social media, it’s easier than ever to discover up-and-coming artists. And, that’s exactly how Cailee Rae got her big break. The gifted sixteen-year-old posted a video on Instagram and couldn’t believe the reaction. Since then, over half a million followers have been enjoying her breathtaking covers and originals.

On Friday, the brilliant songstress released her debut EP: Overthinking. It’s an indie-pop collection that showcases a talent far beyond her years. Every song features Cailee’s warm, eclectic vocals and relatable storytelling. There’s an authenticity and originality with her songwriting that we can’t get enough of!

The EP includes the hit single: “Anchor.” The song is an anthem about self-empowerment. And, never letting anything tie you down—whether it’s a person, situation, or even yourself! Other standouts include “Bye You” and “I Don’t Care.”

Cailee has one goal with her music: “I just want to spread love and messages through my music, and fill stadiums with people and with love. Music is something that brings people together and helps them. It’s the only language that everyone understands.” And, the EP is a testament to that.

You can pick up her EP on Amazon, iTunes, or stream it on Spotify.
