Man Crush Monday: Ian Harding

“Got a secret. Can you keep it? Swear this one you’ll save. Better lock it, in your pocket. Taking this one to the grave.”

As you can probably tell, I’m pretty excited for the return of Pretty Little Liars. It’s my guilty pleasure T.V. show. So, of course, our Man Crush Monday this week goes to Ian Harding. I love his performance on the hit series but I’m a bigger fan of what he does off-screen.

The immensely gifted actor was born in Heidelberg, Germany. He discovered his passion for theater at Georgetown. And, continued his studies at the prestigious, Carnegie Mellon University. When he landed the role as Ezra Fitz on Pretty Little Liars, he became an instant fan favorite.

The show is known for its complex characters. And, Ian has done a fantastic job showcasing his versatility. Remember when we thought Ezra could be A? And, when his girlfriend suffered a tragedy while working with Habitat for Humanity? His character’s storyline has been dramatic to say the least. And, Ian has delivered each and every time. It’s no surprise why he’s one of Hollywood’s rising talents.

Ian uses his fame to advocate for Lupus. He’s teamed up with the Lupus Foundation of America to build awareness for the autoimmune disease which affects over 1.5 million people including his mother. He does a lot to support the foundation including running several unique campaigns each year. What a guy! (If you’d like to donate to the foundation, click here.)
