It’s time for another edition of ‘He Said, She Said.’ Our new blog series highlighting the best and worst moments from American Idol’s farewell season (or is it?).
Sadly, Stephanie has a cold and won’t be able to join us for this week’s recap of American Idol Week 2. As Regina George would say “Boo, you whore.” I kid, I kid. That just means you get to hear more from ME!
Anyway, dim the lights…here we go. Here are my thoughts on American Idol Week 2:
Did anyone else have issues with the audio for the first audition? I’m assuming it was done on purpose but why? If you know, drop us a comment below because I was confused AF.
Have we seen any guys who could possibly win this season? I don’t think so. The women are killing it.
Sara Sturm, 17, from Centreville, VA – What a great song choice! Her rendition of Meghan Trainor’s “Lips Are Moving” was adorable. I loved her youthfulness. She could be really fun at the live shows.
Jenn Blosil, 23, from Brooklyn, NY – I love Jenn “with two Ns.” She’s a hometown girl with a quirky personality. Her rendition of “Radioactive” was one of the best I’ve ever heard. If Idol doesn’t work out, I’m sure I can see her performing at a venue in New York City.
Tommy Springfellow, 17, from Bentonville, AR – He has a great tone and look. His voice could use a few more years but unfortunately it’s the final season of Idol.
Tywan “Tank” Jackson, 29, from Ashtabula, OH – Did anyone else scream “WERK” while he was dancing? The dancing was definitely better than the singing but he’s one I’ll remember, especially if he brings the boogie again.
Jake Dillon, 22, from Sandsprings, OK – I was totally engaged during his performance. He had a quiet confidence that I enjoyed. I was baffled why there was even a debate. You could tell how much fire he has. I’m calling it now, he will be a dark horse in this competition. Also, how cute were his kids?
