Get Ready for The Good Place’s Final Season by Watching The Selection

In preparation for The Good Place’s fourth and final season, NBC has released a six episode digital series entitled The Selection to get old fans caught up with the story so far. The Selection is its own unique story that bridges the gap between season three and four.

Eleanor Shellstrop, played by the ever-adorable Kristen Bell, dies quite suddenly and arrives at Michael’s (Ted Danson) neighborhood in the afterlife. The twist is that this is The Good Place and Eleanor, who has lived a far-from-good life, is pretty sure she doesn’t belong there. As the series unfolds, themes of death, ethics, and morality are explored–but always in a fun and light-hearted way.

The writing is impeccable, and the cast has incredible chemistry! You can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be watching the season four premiere on September 26. But, until then, The Selection will have to be enough to hold me over.
