Freeform Picks Up The Bold Type

Guys, the summer is looking lit! Freeform announced today that they’ve picked up The Bold Type. The series is set to premiere in summer 2017 and it’s sure to be your newest addiction.

Inspired by the life of Joanna Coles, chief content officer of Hearst Magazines, the show reveals a glimpse into the lives of those who built the global women’s magazine, Scarlet. The new generation of Scarlet women will lean on each other as they discover their own voice amongst a sea of intimidating leaders. The show promises to bring plenty of drama, love, and of course, fashion.

The Bold Type stars Katie Stevens (Faking It), Aisha Dee (Sweet/Vicious), Meghann Fahy (Political Animals), Sam Page (House of Cards), Matt Ward (Remedy), and Melora Hardin (Transparent).
