Forest Whitaker to Host All-Star Benefit Concert

What’s better than live music and a great cause? Pretty much nothing, but add Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker as the host and it’s everything. Performers4Peace, a benefit concert that’ll take place on May 9th at 42West, will support Whitaker Peace & Development Initiative’s work in peace and community building. And, it features all of our favorite Broadway artists!

Scheduled performers for this special evening include:

  • James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin, Memphis, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee)
  • Lesli Margherita (Dames at Sea, Matilda, Zorro the Musical)
  • Daniel Breaker (The Book of Mormon, Passing Strange, Shrek the Musical)
  • Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages, Jekyll & Hyde, The Wedding Singer, Friend Art)
  • Brandon Uranowitz (An American in Paris, Baby It’s You!)
  • Mara Davis (A Chorus Line, Drowsy Chaperone, Dames at Sea, White Christmas)
  • Marcus Paul James (Rent, Motown, In the Heights)
  • Jill Paice (An American in Paris, Matilda, The 39 Steps)
