Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Chris Mann’s “Stop Loving You”

Chart-topping recording artist Chris Mann is bringing the feels with his brand-new music video for “Stop Loving You,” premiering exclusively on Pop Culturalist. A sonic departure for Chris, the infectious slow jam single is an honest look at the highs and lows of marriage and long-term commitment.

“It’s a beautiful thing we are lucky to find, but damn, it can be hard sometimes,” Chris told us. “No one says life and love are easy. You know you’re lucky when you find someone who rides the wave with you, up and down. A partner is a constant cheerleader about everything—not just about dreams and careers, but about small things like taking out dirty diapers! Good job, babe. High fives! It’s so glamorous, right? And more seriously about just the emotional toll life can take on your heart and soul.”

“Stop Loving You” brings all of Chris’s musical influences to the forefront and has just about everything. From chill verses to a show-stopping gospel choir moment to the honeyed vocals of his friend Missi Hale Stearns.

When we thought we couldn’t love the single anymore, Chris drops the music video for “Stop Loving You,” which features his wife, Laura. When asked about the concept for the video, Chris said, “I love creating stuff with her. It’s been a while since we did a video together, and I had to have her for this one. My vision was all about trying to save each other as we fall through space and sink into the deep waters. In the end, we are each other’s lifeline.”

Check out the music video below, and keep up with Chris by following him on Twitter and Instagram.
