He’s encouraging listeners to follow their hearts and shoot for their dreams, and it’s definitely resonating with audiences. His first single, “I Can Change,” has over a million streams online. Yes, one million! Today, he drops his brand-new single, “The Shape of Your Faith,” and we spoke with Will about the song.

PC: How did you discover your passion for music?
Will: I discovered my passion for music at a very young age. The largest driving force was my parents. They influenced me a lot and exposed me to some cool music. From the age of two, I was listening to Guns N’ Roses, Prince, Elton John—stuff like that.

PC: Tell us about your new single, “The Shape of Your Faith.” What inspired the track?
Will: I’m really excited it’s coming out. Musically, it has a fun, groovy, retro vibe. Lyrically, it describes how love can be expressed in different forms and shapes. The creative and recording process was so memorable and such a unique experience.

PC: You have an upcoming EP coming out soon. What can you tease about that?
Will: I have multiple songs recorded at the moment. I think I might go the route of releasing several singles and then compiling them all into an EP.

PC: What’s the message you hope to get across? Is there a particular song you’re excited for your fans to hear?
Will: I have a cool duet coming out soon. I’m excited for that one. Overall, I want to spread a message of positivity and have an impactful message.

PC: You’re also the founder of Music for Wishes. Tell us about the foundation. Have you always known you wanted to use your platform to give back?
Will: From an early age, I’ve always wanted to find a way to combine my passion for music with my passion for helping others. In 2017, Music for Wishes was born. It’s an event that’s hosted annually. It’s a benefit for Make-A-Wish Foundation. It impacts and benefits local children for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We’ve raised over $85,000 for local children in Somerset, Kentucky.

PC: What does the rest of the year hold for you as we look to the end of 2019 into 2020?
Will: There’s a music video for “The Shape of Your Faith” coming! And then I have some fun Christmas content coming out. I have a video and cover that I’m doing for the holidays and several more releases. I might also tour around spring next year.
