Cody Johns Drops Video for There You Are, and We’re Shook

The wait is FINALLY over! Cody Johns just dropped the music video for his brand new single, “There You Are”, and it’s everything we wanted and more. The musician/actor/viner/YouTuber (whew, that was a mouthful) teased fans earlier this week about the release, and, well, he didn’t disappoint. It’s an infectious pop track with R&B influences and the first big hit of the summer. Cody is set to release his first EP later this year and if this is any indication of what’s to come, we’re in for a treat.

Directed by Fraser Precious, the visually stunning music video is simple yet effective, and it features a little cameo that’s giving us all the feels. When Cody chatted about the music video and song, he stated “We wanted the video to really juxtapose the viewer’s feelings when they watch it, and give phantom messages that ultimately tell the story of wanting to be with the person you love.” Well, mission accomplished.

Take a listen and look below…

“There You Are” is now available on iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play, Spotify, and Tidal. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your copy today.
