Book Review: SteelStriker by Marie Lu

Steelstriker by Marie Lu is the conclusion to the Skyhunter duology. This book is told from two perspectives: Talin’s and Red’s. Fans of the “Found Family” trope will adore this doulogy.

Steelstriker comes out on September 28th and I highly recommend grabbing a copy or checking it out at a local library.

Highlights

  • The stakes are so much higher than it was in the first book! There are assassination attempts, characters are going behind each other’s backs, and secret conversations.
  • It lives up to the hype.
  • Every time Talin is a little happy, something else comes that knocks her down. This book will keep you up at night until you finish it.
  • You’re going to love the characters as much as you’ll love the story, especially if you’re into high stake fantasy books.

Final thoughts: This sequel is one you won’t want to miss! SteelStriker is an action-packed YA dystopian novel with a lush fantasy world and characters that will melt your heart.

Thank you to MacMillan Publisher and NetGalley for this copy of SteelStriker.
