Beyonce Drops New Album, “Lemonade”

Beyonce has released her brand new album, titled “Lemonade” now available on Tidal. Along with the album, she has also dropped the album movie, which features visuals to every song on the album.

The album features 12 new songs, including “Pray You Catch Me”, “Hold Up”, “Don’t Hurt Yourself” and features from artists like The Weekend, James Black and Jack White.

Diving into her emotions being more raw, vulnerable and vocal than ever before, Beyonce let’s us in on some of the most sensitive areas in her life with arguably the most beautiful lyrics and arrangements of her catalog thus far.

A few standouts for me include “Hold Up”, “Freedom”, and “Daddy Lessons”, which is a track with a blues/country sound, something we have not yet heard from Beyonce with beyond exceptional production done by Beyonce herself.

Here’s a look at the album tracklisting:

1. “Pray You Catch Me”
2. “Hold Up”
3. “Don’t Hurt Yourself” feat. Jack White
4. “Sorry”
5. “6 Inch” feat. The Weekend
6. “Daddy Lessons”
7. “Love Drought”
8. “Sandcastles”
9. “Forward” feat. James Blake
10. “Freedom” feat. Kendrick Lamar
11. “All Night”
12. “Formation”

Overall, Beyonce has once again topped herself with an incredibly moving album with highs, lows and everything in between. Wonderful production, emotional lyrics, and of course those great hooks that only Beyonce can bring are exactly why this album is a certified smash.
