Avenue Beat Raises a Middle Finger to 2020 With New Single, “F2020”

Pop risers Avenue Beat created a viral moment on Tik Tok with a teaser for their new single, “F2020,” a tongue-in-cheek anthem, where the girls say what everyone else was thinking about this year. From the passing of pets to facing the quarantine blues, the trio covers it all in the cheeky lyrics.

Yo, my cat died and a global pandemic took over my life // And I put out some music that nobody liked // So, I got really sad and bored at the same time //And that’s why I’m like // Lowkey f– 2020

In their anthem for 2020, the trio released a lyric video, filled with footage from the band, compiled by Savana Santos, adding a personal flare to the turmoil that 2020 has had on the trio. Listen to “F2020” above.
