Adele Laurie Blue Adkins continues to break records, turning everything she touches into gold. The 27 year old singer from the Tottenham neighborhood of London has not only sold over 30 million copies of her sophomore album, “21”, but she has also already sold over 3 million copies of her brand new album “25” in only 3 weeks. The lead single from the album, “Hello” debuted at N0.1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and has remained there for four weeks.
Her much-anticipated ‘Live In New York City’ one-night special, taped at Radio City Music Hall in November finally aired on NBC last night and drew in 11.3 viewers – the highest televised concert in over 11 years. Belting out hits like “Hello”, “Set Fire To The Rain”, “Rolling In The Deep” and pulling on the heartstrings with ballads like “Someone Like You” and “Million Years Ago”, Adele once again sang her way into the hearts of America.
