Adam McArthur’s Super Awesome Boba Meetup Takes Over NYCC 2019

Best known as the voice behind the beloved character Marco Diaz in the animated TV series Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Adam McArthur is an actor who loves engaging with fans. Three years ago, he created the first Super Awesome Boba Meetup at San Diego Comic-Con, which gave fans the unique opportunity to hang out with Adam, grab an autograph and selfie, and drink some delicious boba tea (inspired by the series). Since then, it’s become an annual event with star-studded guests.

This weekend, Adam took his Super Awesome Boba Meetup on the road and made his way to New York Comic Con. He took over Bryant Park, where fans came out and spent two hours with Adam, sharing their favorite Star vs. the Forces of Evil moments while sipping on boba. Take a look below at all the fun they had, and follow Adam on Twitter and Instagram so that you know when the next meetup is!
