Deadpool Meets X-Force in Newest Trailer

After several teaser trailers—and one featuring a pretty good parody of Bob Ross—20th Century Fox finally released a proper trailer to the upcoming Deadpool 2.

We actually get a hint of the overarching plot this time. Cable, played by Josh Brolin, is sent back from the future to kill a mutant kid, and Deadpool, presumably, is stepping in to stop him. All the regulars are back from the first movie, including Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Deadpool’s girlfriend Vanessa, and even Dopinder, the taxi driver.

The trailer even hints at adding more characters from the X-Force. I’ve only read a handful of Deadpool comics, so I have absolutely no idea who any of them are or what mutant superpowers they have, but with Terry Crews having a prominent position on the X-Force, I have no doubt it will be awesome!

Deadpool 2 is slated to hit theaters on May 18.
