5 Fun Facts with Symonne Harrison

Actress, model, dancer, and YouTuber Symonne Harrison is crushing it in everything she does, whether that’s with projects like The Affair, creating content for her YouTube Channel, or inventing a product to help young children. Pop Culturalist caught up with this many-faceted talent to learn a little bit more about her.

Symonne began acting at the age of seven.
“I have always loved performing for people. I was signed with a talent agency at the age of seven and I was in my first film project at the age of nine. Last year, my family moved from my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio to Los Angeles, California to further my acting career. Since moving to LA, I have filmed a pilot, performed in a few plays, been in a couple of music videos.”

Symonne is an inventor.
Symonne invented the product Bear on the Chair at the age of six and holds a design patent for her invention. Bear on the Chair is a motivational year-round behavior buddy for kids. Symonne loves that her product has also helped children with Autism. It is sold on Amazon and select Learning Express stores. Bear on the Chair was featured on the ABC sitcom Black-ish.

Symonne has performed at Walt Disney World and was given a limited-edition Walt Disney performer signature pair of ruby red dance shoes!
“I have been dancing since the age of three. I danced competitively from the age of seven through eleven. I was invited to perform at Walt Disney World last year and had the most magical time dancing down Main Street! I treasure my ruby red WDW performer dance shoes!”

Symonne is a gamer.
“I love playing video games. I enjoy playing with my friends on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and online video games. I also made a Roblox account for my fans so I can play along with them. It’s really fun!”

Symonne is a thrill seeker.
“I am pretty adventurous. I love having fun and trying different activities. I love flying trapeze, lyra, zip lining, indoor skydiving, acrobatics, and parasailing.”
