5 Fun Facts with Sophiánna Smith

Sophiánna Smith is a triple threat who has taken the industry by storm with her breakout role in Netflix’s Mercy Black. She’s also been seen in nationwide campaigns for Vic & Vicky and Petite ‘n Pretty, and walked the runway for MOD Activewear. When she’s not crushing it on the screen or the catwalk, Sophianna is working hard on her highly anticipated debut album. Pop Culturalist caught up with this rising star to learn a little more about her.

Sophianna earned the State Synchronized Championship at the age of seven.
“I spent years training in the water as a young kid before I started acting and had to eventually choose between the two.”

Sophianna is the oldest of three.
“My brother and sister also dabble in acting and modeling.”

Sophianna overcame bullying.
“I have a significant gap in between my front two teeth, and I was bullied in public school because of it. My gap is actually the only way I can whistle!”

Sophianna loves making slime in her free time.
“Cloud slime is my favorite because of the light texture.”

Sophianna loves sushi.
“I could eat it all day and night!”
