Speechless‘ Mason Cook is back to chat with Pop Culturalist, and this time he’s sharing five fun facts that you may or may not know about him.
1. One of his relatives is a famous inventor!
“My great-great-great-great grandfather was John A. Roebling, inventor of the wire cable that is used on all suspension bridges to this day, and the architect/designer of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City.”
2. His siblings have a lot in common.
“I have three siblings and two are left-handed like me.”
3. Another relative was on one of the world’s most famous ships.
“I had a relative die on the Titanic.”
4. He’s does NOT like to sing or dance.
“I hate singing and dancing, which is probably why the Speechless writers have Ray sing and dance all the time.”
5. He had his first on-screen kiss on Speechless.
“My first on-screen kiss was in the Speechless pilot, directed by Christine Gernon. Literally every episode she directs includes a kissing scene for Ray. Coincidence? I think not.”
Make sure to follow Mason on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, and check out Speechless every Wednesday on ABC at 8:30/7:30c.
