About the Film
Based on a true story, New York socialite Florence Foster Jenkins (Meryl Streep) has always dreamed of being an opera singer. There’s just one small problem, her ambition exceeds her talent. Simply put, she’s tone-deaf. Her loving husband, St. Clair Bayfield (Hugh Grant), will go to great lengths to ensure his wife never finds out. But, when Florence announces she plans to sing at Carnegie Hall, they’ll face their greatest challenge yet.
