On the Road: Brent Morin

For this week’s “On the Road” we’re going a bit off course and bringing the laughs. Who doesn’t love a bit of stand-up? This comedian-actor stars on the hit NBC show, Undateable. He’s made guest appearances on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The McCarthy’s, and Ground Floor. It’s none other than Brent Morin.

In 2013, Brent was named one of Variety‘s “Top 10 Comics to Watch.” A title he rightfully deserves. He’s goofy, sometimes awkward, but always hilarious. The material is fresh, relatable, and often self-deprecating. Who doesn’t love a comic who can poke fun at themselves? I know I do.

If you’ve seen Undateable, you have a pretty good sense of Brent’s persona and charisma. He’s the guy everyone wants to be friends with and it shows during his set when he engages with the audience. He makes light of moments we’re all too familiar with, from awkward breakups to drunk Instagramming. Brent isn’t shy about sharing in the laughs. He takes well-placed breaks to chuckle at the comical things that have happened in his life. All accompanied by stellar impersonations that’ll make you laugh until your insides hurt.

If you’re still on the fence, go watch his special on Netflix. Then, head over to his official site and buy your tickets. You won’t regret it. Trust me, I’ve seen him live multiple times.
