New Music Alert: Ruel Drops His Sophomore EP, Free Time

Award-winning multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and performer Ruel has grown a lot since his debut EP, Ready. He’s toured the world, had new experiences, and matured as an artist. He’s back now with his highly-anticipated sophomore release, Free Time, which marks the next chapter in his already impressive career.

Ruel states, “A lot of things have changed since my last EP. I’ve been given a lot of pretty amazing opportunities and had some crazy experiences. For this EP, I went into the writing room with a bit more life experience and a clearer creative direction on how I approached the songs. These songs are the most personal tracks I’ve put out to date, and I really feel like I discovered a specific sound for this project. I’m super proud with how it turned out, and I hope you guys like it too.”

Executively produced by long-time collaborator and GRAMMY® Award-winning M-Phazes, Free Time is a seven-track collection that features hit singles like “Painkiller”, “Face to Face”, and “Real Thing”. It’s a must-listen for any music lover.

Pick up your copy on Amazon Music, iTunes or stream it on Spotify, and catch Ruel on the Free Time tour—kicking off in San Francisco. Complete dates can be found on his official website: www.oneruel.com
