Man Crush Monday: Andrew Garfield

Time and time again, Andrew Garfield has proven himself as one of Hollywood’s most versatile leading men. From playing the co-founder of Facebook to being our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Andrew can do it all. But, he’s not going to take on just any ol’ project. He’s an actor with a discerning eye when it comes to what he signs on for. And, it’s evident that he only chooses roles that he’s passionate about. He can next be seen as Desmond T. Doss in Hacksaw Ridge—directed by Mel Gibson. The film opens this Friday and his performance is already building Oscar buzz (we can’t say we’re surprised). Here are a few reasons why Andrew is our Man Crush Monday (and, why he should be yours):

His Charitable Heart
Andrew is all about giving back. The man has a heart of gold. He’s involved with several non-profit organizations including the Worldwide Orphans Foundation. Together, they’re transforming the lives of children left behind. Watch him chat about it below:

He’s Using His Platform for Good
Andrew isn’t about the lime light. He enjoys his privacy and you’ll never see him wilding out. On the off-chance that he’s spotted by paparazzi, he uses it as an opportunity to promote great causes. Who doesn’t remember the photo below?

He Loves His Fans
Andrew always makes time for his fans—especially the little ones. He’s never too busy to engage in conversation, sign an autograph, take a selfie, or even shoot some hoops. While filming The Amazing Spider-Man, Andrew took a quick break to play some b-ball with the neighborhood kids (in full costume, nonetheless)! What a guy.

His Dance Moves
His hips don’t lie! Amirite?

He’s Well-Spoken
If you’ve ever seen or read any interview that Andrew has done, you know the man can mesmerize you with his words. We could listen to this University of London graduate talk all day.

These are just a few reasons why we’re crushing hard on Andrew. Make sure to check out Hacksaw Ridge this Friday!
