Listen To Ariana Grande’s “Christmas & Chill” EP

Singer Ariana Grande released her new Christmas EP, titled “Christmas & Chill” on iTunes on December 18th. The 6-tracked EP promises for a relaxed, chill and modern take on Christmas music and I have to say, it delivers through and through. We promise you’re going to get exactly what you’re looking for with this fantastic release.

Intro:
The introduction does a great job at setting the tone for this EP. A very chilled and relaxed feeling over some modern, R&B beats.

Wit It This Christmas:
This song immediately reminds of the sound we originally fell in love with from Ariana. The perfect balance between R&B and Pop. The hook hits us with the lyrics “Tis the season for some love giving, so I think you should give your love to me” – the perfect lyrics that certainly sums up this track.

December:
An upbeat track that definitely gets you moving, complete with great syncipation that Ariana is known for with many of her hits. A Christmas record that you can feel guilt-free for blasting at full capacity in your car as you head out to those holiday parties.

Not Just on Christmas:
A mid-tempo ballad, that sticks to the general theme of this EP, that “chill” vibe with hints of the Christmas-influenced instrumentals. I’m really loving the harmonies on this particular track.

True Love:
The song that for me has the most amazing bass line, “True Love” delivers with a classic love song that meets Christmas. With lyrics like “look at all the things my true love gave to me”, this is a song that you’ll enjoy spinning in the background when spending time with your significant other.

Winter Things:
Ariana chooses to closes out the EP with a very cute Hawaiian-esque song, that if you listen closely enough would think singer/songwriter Bruno Mars penned, once again a killer hook that you’re sure to be humming for hours after listening. I think you’ll be keeping this one atop of your winter-themed playlists for sure.

Overall, the EP is a total success. I absolutely love the way Ariana was able to mold traditional Christmas music with modern twists and of course keeping true to the “chill” factor.

If you’re looking for that one Christmas EP to spin non-stop, this is definitely for you.

Purchase now on iTunes.
The EP is also available for free streaming on Spotify.
