Keanu Reeves is back in John Wick: Chapter 4

John Wick is back!

Not even a global pandemic could stop another installment of this action-packed franchise from coming out. It has been three whole years since we last saw Keanu Reeves reprise his role as John Wick in John Wick 3: Parabellum—you can read my review here! Lionsgate has mercifully released the trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4, temporarily satiating fans of the franchise, including this one!

In the theme of pretty much all John Wick trailers, we see quick, cinematic shots of neon-drenched, moody environs while an epic, foreboding version of Terry Jacks’ “Seasons in the Sun” plays in the background. The trailer also has some quick, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it glimpses of the cast: Laurence Fishburne in hobo attire and Lance Reddick along with Ian McShane returning in their classic sharp professional attire to name a few. What will surely delight fans is the addition of Hiroyuki Sanada and Donnie Yen, the latter of which looks to be the katana-wielding main villain!

And I haven’t even mentioned Reeves himself drifting in a doorless Barracuda, casually popping off shots from his 9mm. It’s a jam-packed trailer which I’ll strongly recommend that you check out!

Save the date! John Wick: Chapter 4 opens in theaters March 24, 2023.
