Everything, Everything Trailer is Finally Here

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon was a debut hit when it was published in 2015. It was one of those books that you read in one sitting because you could not put it down. It is the story of Maddy Whittier, a 17-year-old with a rare disease that keeps her inside her house 24/7.

Maddy is a lonely dreamer. She watches the world through the windows in her house.  Aside from her mother, Dr. Whittier, she is only ever visited by her nurse and a tutor. One day, she sees a moving truck bring new neighbors: the Bright family. This family includes a cute teenage boy named Olly. They catch eyes through the window, and, thus begins a wonderful, butterfly-inducing, heartbreaking love story.

When it was announced that Everything, Everything would be turned into a film, fans were ecstatic (i.e. we were too!). Although we’ve thought up many variations of our dream cast for this, the actors that were ultimately cast seem like they’ll do a wonderful job. We’re particularly excited to see Amandla Stenberg (as Maddy Whittier), Anika Noni Rose (Dr. Whittier), and Nick Robinson (Olly Bright, one of the greatest fictional boy characters, imho). We’ll be in theaters opening day…will you?

P.S. Read Everything, Everything, loved it, and want more? Check out Nicola Yoon’s newest book, The Sun is Also a Star. It was one of our picks for best YA books of 2016!
