The Commute Sets Season 2 Premiere Date

As the weather gets warmer outside and the days get longer, the countdown to summer officially begins. But that also means our favorite shows are about to go on hiatus. Thankfully, AwesomenessTV announced today that the second season of their hit series, The Commute, will premiere on Tuesday, June 6. The show, which centers around an unlikely friendship, won a WGA award for Original Short Form New Media and drove over 7.4 million views to AwesomnessTV’s YouTube channel.

The Commute stars Claudia Sulewski (T@gged) as Emma, a popular girl with a suspended license, and Steffan Argus (The Gifted) as Hansen, the boy next door without a car. Like many, they dread public transportation, and even worse, they live in LA. They come to an agreement that Hansen will use Emma’s car to drive them both to work. But at the end of the road is a relationship they didn’t see coming. The show is exquisitely written, the characters are instantly relatable, and the bite-sized episodes allow you to enjoy the story when and where you want.

Next season, they’ll be joined by Jordan Doww (Reach), Griffin Arnlund (Hacking High School), Jay Versace (Hacking High School), Erika Vianey, Josh Server (Good Girls Revolt), Aaron Burriss, and Carlie Craig (MADtv).

The entire first season of The Commute is available for your binge-watching pleasure on YouTube. So, what are you waiting for? And don’t forget to catch the new season starting on June 2nd. New episodes air every Tuesday and Thursday.
