7 Country Songs We’re Thankful For

As Thanksgiving nears, we don’t blame you for waiting to pull out your Christmas playlists, especially after all of the amazing new music that was released this fall. We’ve compiled the best country bops from this season, along with a few classics that we are thankful for this year. Carly Pearce – “I Hope You’re Happy Now”

Country queen Carly Pearce’s new single is giving us all the feels. The newlywed released this song alongside country star Lee Brice and it’s become an instant hit. We can’t wait to see what Carly has to come in 2020.

Candi Carpenter – “The Astronaut”

Rising star Candi Carpenter just released her debut single and it’s blowing up and for good reason. Candi’s lyricism is unique to the country genre, asking philosophical questions with twang. Candi’s unique sound has earned Dolly Parton’s seal of approval with the new song, as she recently played with the country legend on her 50 year Opry debut.

Ryan Hurd – “Wish for the World”

Ryan Hurd released this gem along with his latest EP this fall and we can’t get enough of it. Ryan’s heartfelt lyrics and soft acoustic beats invite listeners to catch an intimate glimpse into his world.

Gone West – “What Could’ve Been”

Gone West serves up fresh beats paired with a catchy melody in their latest single. The newly formed band blew everyone away at CMA Fest this year, and we can’t wait to hear new music from them in 2020.

Jenna Paulette – “Midnight Cowboy”

Modern cowgirl Jenna Paulette is shaking up the country genre with her new single. Jenna’s New West style mixes modern beats with traditional twang sounds that come together in a beautifully blended sound.

Steve Moakler – “How Have We Never”

Steve’s new single leaves us reminiscent of the exciting feeling of having a crush growing up. All of the butterflies and fireworks flood back into our memory in the best way. If you’re looking for a hint of nostalgia, give this song a listen during this year’s cuffing season.

Haley & Michaels – “Hail Mary”

Country duo, Haley & Michales blow us away with their new jam, just in time for tailgating season. Grab your flannels along with your jersey of choice and be sure to add this song to your hype up playlist before watching the Thanksgiving Day game this year.
